Letting the cat out of the bag...FINALLY!

I'm so excited to finally share some amazing news that I've been keeping under wraps until all the paperwork was finalized — I’ve officially signed a one-year contract with Orleans Gallery / Louisiana Art on Julia Street in New Orleans! 🎉

Julia Street is one of the most vibrant art corridors in the city, and being part of this creative community feels like a huge milestone in my artistic journey. My official show will take place next year, but I’ll already have 4–5 of my felted artworks hanging and available for sale starting November 1st, just in time for the next Julia Street Art Walk.

I’m thrilled to be partnering with gallery owner Cayman Clevenger, whose lifelong passion for collecting and supporting artists has made Orleans Gallery such a special space. Cayman has represented some of New Orleans’ most celebrated names,

including James Michalopoulos and George Rodrigue, and I’m honored to be part of that legacy.

Cayman introduced himself to me during the "New Orleans in Art" opening reception at the R.W. Norton Gallery, where my artwork, BIG CHIEF, received first place. Since then, we've been chatting on Instagram. After researching and attending the gallery during September's Julia Street Art Walk, comparing it with other galleries on Julia Street, I became convinced that Orleans Gallery was the right fit for me.

This opportunity means the world to me — to share my vibrant, Louisiana-inspired felted pieces in a gallery that truly celebrates the soul of this city.
