I purchased a beautiful shade of coral merino wool top while I was visiting my mom in N.C. a while ago and couldn't wait to felt a floral piece with it! Coral is one of my favorite colors!  
 
This piece involves wet felting using wool, silk, bamboo, and viscose fibers. I also did a little bit of nuno felting using scraps of silk fabric. I've become obsessed with art yarns, so I swirled some of that to create flower buds. Once the felt was dry, I hand embellished with glass beads and buttons.
